Dr Ruan Venter

Dr Ruan F Venter obtained his MB,ChB degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2007. He completed his 2 years of internship training at Groote Schuur Hospital. In 2010, during his community service year, Dr Venter decided to further his education and completed a diploma in Primary Emergency Care (Dip PEC) via the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa  (CMSA).

 

He decided to broaden his horizons and for the next 5 years Dr Venter was part of a successful family physician practice in Alberta, Canada where he gained valuable experience of medicine in a first world setting.

 

It was also during this time that he decided to specialize in the field of Family Medicine and he successfully completed his CCFP qualification (Certified Canadian Family Physician) via the CFPC (College of Family Physicians of Canada).
